This review is for the GlamNatural Cream Blush in Barely There, which retails for $28 USD.

What GlamNatural say about their blush:

“Our Cream Blush offers a smooth, satin finish and a healthy flush appropriate for all skin types. Please note: Our cream blush is rich and highly concentrated. You need to use only the tiniest bit and blend along cheekbones. Take care not to over-apply.”

What GlamNatural say about this shade:

“For the fairest complexions. A natural hue best for highlighting the cheeks.”

My Thoughts:

I love cream blushes and this one is excellent. Not only is this blush (and the rest of the GlamNatural range) made from only a few skin-loving ingredients, but it gives excellent results every time.

The Upside:

Highly pigmented, gives a beautiful glow, buildable colour, suitable for most skin types. GlamNatural is a 100% vegan brand! Their whole range is also gluten free.

The Downside:

It can be a bit difficult at first to know how much to use, because you need so little of the product. It may take a bit of practice in the beginning to get it right.

The Extended Review:

The GlamNatural range of cream blush comes in a beautiful gold pump bottle that allows you to pump out a very small amount of product at a time. The lid stays on tight and the pump never leaks, which is great for anyone who likes to keep their blush in their purse.

Vegan Makeup GlamNatural Cream Blush Barely There

This cream blush is highly pigmented, so only a small amount is needed, and it’s suitable for most skin types. Anyone with particularly oily skin might not like the way this feels due to it’s moisture content, but anyone from those with the driest skin, to those who get a bit of shine in the T zone throughout the day are sure to love it.

Here is the blush – a lot more of it than anyone would need to use – you can see how thick and opaque it is. I had to wipe most of this off to be able to blend it in the photo below.

I really love wearing this cream blush over liquid foundation that hasn’t been powdered, with a little cream highlighter for a natural, “barely there” look. If you like your makeup to be glowy or dewy this product will quickly become a must have, and with its super concentrated formula it lasts an incredibly long time. The pump bottle means there’s no need to worry about product getting old or full of bacteria either.

These blushes can also double as a super moisturising lip colour, though in this particular shade I haven’t found that to be particularly useful. I can imagine the shade Ashley Ashley would make a sweet cheek and lip combination. This shade of blush looks best on those with fair skin, while darker skin tones would suit one of the deeper shades in the range.

As I mentioned above,GlamNatural is a 100% vegan range. In addition to this they have developed their own criteria for their products, called the BodySafe™ Promise.

“In an increasingly toxic world, there are many exposures beyond your control. Your makeup should not be one of them. Our products are held to an impressive BodySafe™ standard – something no other product on the market can boast.

To qualify as BodySafe™, all GlamNatural products must be:

gluten free
cruelty free
talc free
formaldehyde free
mineral oil free
petroleum free
harmful emulsifier free
phthalates free
sodium lauryl sulfate free
synthetic dye free
fragrance free
EU Cosmetics Directive compliant”

So you can rest assured that not only are these products created without harming any animals whatsoever, they will also not harm us!

Makeup Artist Tip:

Apply this blush on bare skin or after applying liquid or cream foundation using a small amount on a reasonably firm blush or foundation brush, in small, circular motions. Alternatively the blush can be applied using clean fingers in a soft patting motion. If you want to use powder over your foundation, or you find that the blush feels a little sticky even after it has settled on the skin then you can apply powder after applying the blush and any other cream products. For best results I recommend using this blush without powders.

When the blush is first applied it takes a little while to melt/settle into the skin, so check it a few minutes after it has been applied as you may want to use more.

The GlamNatural range is available worldwide from their website. Stay tuned for more GlamNatural reviews coming this month.
