This review is for the Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water, which retails for $9.95 AUD.

What Sukin say about this cleanser:

“A gentle Micellar cleansing water infused with cucumber & chamomile to thoroughly remove makeup and soothe the skin.”

My Thoughts:

A+! As a makeup artist on the job I need high quality cleansers that don’t require any water and are safe to use on all skin types, and this one ticks all the boxes.

The Upside:

Used with cotton makeup removal pads, the Sukin cleanser is excellent at removing makeup, dirt and oils from the skin. Leaves skin feeling cleansed, without product residue, and ready for moisturising. This cleanser can be used with or without water which makes it excellent for use on set and travelling, and for use at home. Sukin is a 100% vegan brand!

The Downside:

This cleanser can sting a little if it gets in the eyes, but just make sure not to soak the cotton pads too much and this shouldn’t be a problem.

Makeup Artist Tip:

For stubborn eye makeup apply the cleanser to a cotton pad and hold against the eye for about 20 seconds, then wipe away. This helps to soften up any mascara/eyeliner/lash glue etc., so that less wiping of the delicate eye area is necessary. Also, for those with super sensitive skin rinse the face with lukewarm water after removing all traces of makeup.
